His professional path showcases an intriguing mix of finance and entrepreneurship. His career seeds were sown at the esteemed United Bank of Switzerland, where he interned while studying at Texas State University. Aiming to emulate his father's career as a financial advisor, he dedicated his efforts to establishing a robust base in the finance field. However, the worldwide Covid-19 crisis led him to a surprising diversion. The widespread hiring halt in the finance sector made him pivot his focus toward the world of entrepreneurship.

With the skills he learned from his father, such as boating and various water sports, and business insights acquired at university, he and his father and younger brothers inaugurated Big Tex Boat Rentals. By turning adversity into an opportunity, they expanded this initiative into a successful business, celebrating three profitable years in operation and preparing for the fourth summer season.

Cornwell's academic quest began at St. Anne's and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High Schools, private Catholic establishments in Beaumont. His adolescent years were filled with diverse activities, sports, and community involvement, shaping his multifaceted character.

Later, he joined Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, to further his academic ambitions in finance and management. He earned dual degrees, one in Finance and another in Management, complemented by a minor in Economics. His academic tenure was enriched by his proactive participation in the university's student government, where he served as a Texas State Senator, and his contribution to the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, where he held several executive roles.

Philanthropic Contributions

Aside from his academic and business pursuits, his life is deeply tied to community service and philanthropic endeavors. He has volunteered and fundraised for multiple charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project from 2014 to 2018 and Bobcat Build from 2014 to 2018.

He played a considerable role in Mobile Loaves & Fishes, where he assisted in raising funds for the homeless and constructing homes from 2015 to 2016. He also participated in community services such as the San Marcos River Cleanup and Flood Relief from 2014 to 2018. he has impacted various community events, from teaching crafts at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church Vacation Bible School to volunteering at the American Homes Kid's Fishing Tournament.

His adventurous father introduced him to water sports at a young age. Corbin's skills and passion for these activities flourished with frequent visits to their family property, "The Blue Mile," a private ski lake in Beaumont known for its water skiing and barefooting activities.

As a fitness enthusiast, he follows a healthy lifestyle, a trait instilled by his health-oriented parents. He enjoys duck hunting, fishing, and dirt biking. His fitness routine, established at 13, remains a constant in his life, with gym visits varying from three to six days a week.

Music also holds a significant place in his life. His love for music progressed from guitar lessons to DJing at local bars during college. His entrepreneurial spirit discovered another path when he co-founded Lunar Events in Austin, Texas, with his business partner Joe Kalla, creating a stage for local music events.
